The warble fly or the Oestridae are a family of flies known including more than 150 species. Their larvae are internal parasites of mammals. Cattle grub is a species common in Europe, Northern Africa and Asia. An adult warble fly reaches a length of 14 to 15 mm, its body is covered with dense short hairs, in the front part of its body the hairs are yellowish gray. The abdomen is black in the middle and reddish in the beginning and on the end. Warble fly is an excellent bait for fishing carps.
