Heavy Head JH-401 are powerful jigheads produced by Simmons company. This series is based on extremely robust forged Aberdeen hooks. They are made out of vanadium-alloyed high-carbon steel and protected from corrosion by nickel plating. Hooks of this type are characterized by roundish bend and long straight point. There are three conical protuberances on the shank, intended to fix the bait firmly. Heavy Head JH-401 heads are designed for fishing big predatory fish: catfish, pike, zander, as well as for fishing various saltwater fish species.
