Happy Hook OFS-12 is a series of offset hooks produced by Simons company. Hooks from this series belong to the modern Wide Gap type. Wide Gap hooks are distinguished by a wide bend, which makes the gap between the bait and the shank bigger. When a fish bites, it works like a lever, increasing the chance of setting the hook. Happy Hook OFS-12 are made out of high carbon vanadium alloyed steel and protected from corrosion by a galvanic coating imitating yellow metal.
